On November 5th, the manager, coaches, and players of the Japan National Baseball Team "Samurai Japan" gathered at a hotel in Tokyo.
After a general meeting, manager Hiroki Kokubo appointed Motohiro Shima of the Tohoku Rakuten Eagles as the captain and then handed out selection certificates to the remaining players.
The Japan National Baseball Team "Samurai Japan" are scheduled to have a practice on the 6th and then face the 2013 BASEBALL CHALLENGE "Japan vs. Chinese Taipei" (3 game series) from the 8th to 10th.
