About renaming of JBMC (Japan Baseball Marketing Committee)

In Japan Baseball Marketing Committee (Abbreviation=JBMC, organized by General Incorporated Association - Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and General Foundation - Baseball Federation of Japan), we determined to change the name of "Japan Baseball Marketing Committee" to "Japan Baseball Management Committee" as of "the First Summit of Samurai Japan" held today.

The reason of rename

JBMC "Japan Baseball Marketing Committee" founded on May 26, 2013, has supported team in terms of marketing and projects as an organization that both professional and amateur players are united to pull "Japan baseball team" together. However this time, in accord with a new post of "Technical Director", we classified the system of JBMC into "Business Operation" and "Baseball Operation". Therefore, JBMC was renamed to "Japan Baseball Management Committee" as an organization including "Business Operation" and "Baseball Operation".

The new post of "Technical Director" was founded in Samurai Japan, and Yoshitaka Katori is in charge of this position.
