The Samurai Japan 15U National Team Candidates' joint training session was held in Asaka City, Saitama Prefecture, and Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on May 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sun).
This training session was in preparation for the "2nd IBAF 15U World Cup" held in Baja California Sur, Mexico, on July 31st-August 10th, 2014, and also served as player selection.

The training session began with warm-ups and catch, and included base-running, fielding practice, and batting practice. The players worked out for about 2 hours.
A joint training session will be held in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, on May 17th (Sat), and in Yamaga City, Kumamoto Prefecture, on the 18th (Sun).
Comments from Coach Yoshitaka Katori
A lot of extremely talented players came out. We still have to do selections in other regions, and we are expecting more promising players.
Then again, I am very agonized over the selection of players for the team. I think that each of the players did their best, so I want them to take care not to get injured and wait for the good news.
