The Samurai Japan Women's Team player candidate training camp started on June 28 (Saturday). Looking at the results of the warm up games, to strengthen the team even more, Minami Yano, who belongs to the Japan Women's Baseball League Flora team, has been called up.
Yano will join the team starting today, June 29 (Sunday), as a candidate player.
Madonna Japan is looking for a 4th straight championship victory so team formation is drawing to a close. The final roster will be 20 players. They are scheduled to be selected at the training camp to take place in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture starting August 7.
